Thanks for joining us as we share our cards for this week’s challenge over at Mojo Monday. We hope you enjoy what we’ve created. Here is the design sketch we followed:
First up is Karen’s spooky fun card. Her papers include Black Craft from Scary Words, Authentique Herringbone, “Bazzile’s Sour Apple and a bit of SU’s retired Halloween paper. The sweet witch’s boot is a Taylored Expressions’ die with a 1 1/2″ scalloped circle liner. The witch’s hat on the envelope is from Hampton Arts and is embelished with Stickles in red and yellow with a bit of Glossy Accents for a little sparkle.
I used a bit of watercoloring with the background of my image but the remainder of the was done in pencil. I’m still working on my coloring with pencil techniques. Papers include a Kraft base with rust gingham from Papertrey Ink, Basic Grey from SU, and a bit of rust cardstock from Bazille. The sentiment is from a sweet retired collection from SU called A Little Something.
We hope you found some inspiration in something you saw here. We enjoy making cards and continue to try new ideas to improve our card making skills. Please leave a comment and join us again next time by choosing to follow our blog.
