2 Fall Designs for Mojo Monday #460

We have a couple of cards with some Fall flavor to share for this week’s challenge.  Be sure to check out the other great Mojo Monday cards here.  Here is the sketch we followed:

We begin with Karen’s card all set for Halloween.  Her base is an embossed collection of webs from The Paper Studio’s Spider Web followed by a strip of retired Stampin’ Up Halloween paper and a bit of yellow cardstock.  The small web diecuts are from Neat & Tangled with a Halloween Candy Mini from Little Bee.  Be sure to notice her envelope flap also embossed with webs  and some spooky spiders stamped from Stampabilities’ Barrel of Stamps.

My card has more of a Fall/Thanksgiving theme with some rich autumn color.  The floral panel was my inspiration  piece and the rest of the card grew from it.  I used Bazzil cardstock in rust and orange and a stitched circle of Garden Green from Stampin’ Up.  To give my card a bit of dimension I used a horizontal stripe embossing folder from Sizzix.  The sentiment is from SU’s Good Greetings (now retired) and an Enamel Shape from SU’s Brights collection.  I chose to use a bit of washi tape to give my envelope a bit of style.  With so much tape on hand I’ve decided to use my collection to adorn my envelopes and like the look.

That’s it for this week.  We will be without our full crew for a few weeks as some of us spend time traveling.  We hope to be back to the usual group soon.  In the meantime a skeleton crew will continue to bring you our projects and hope you will return for more.

Thanks for visiting!
