Thank You for Mojo Monday #445

Welcome to our little blog. We are friends and family that enjoy making cards together and sharing them with you.  We live across the country from each other and usually do our creating via video chatting.  We meet each week for the Mojo challenge and now it’s become part of our Monday morning routine. We enjoyed this week’s challenge and hope you enjoy our cards.  This is the sketch we followed:

We could use either diagram and were surprised to discover we all chose the circular version.  We purposely do not share our cards until each one has finished and had a good laugh when we saw that they were all round!   Here are the cards we created:

sharon’s card

Sharon has been in a pink mood lately and her card is full of fun pastels.  Paper is from Stampin’ Up’s Birthday Bouquet DSP & Pear Pizzaz cardstock.  The fun stripe is S-E-I’s Promise Me (smitten).  Diecut is from SU’ s starburst collection (retired). Sentiment is Hero Art’s Just for You by Lia.  The sentiment banner was punched with SU’s Curvy Corner Punch (soon to be retired).

robyn’s card

This is Robyn’s sweet card featuring a darling stamp from Taylored Expression’s You’ve Got Mail series.  She backed her card with pieces of DSP from Stampin’ Up’s Field of Flowers & DSP Paper Stack.  The little sentiment is from SU’s Flamingo Lingo. This was Robyn’s first attempt at a circle card and she seemed to really enjoy making it.

karen’s card

Karen is already thinking about summer and the 4th with her patriotic swivel card this week.  Her card cleverly opens with a simple star brad to reveal the message.  Paper Paper Studio’s Four Seasons and sentiment from Stampibilitiy’s Barrel of Stamps.  She carried the patriotic theme just a bit further with the star embossing folder also from Paper Studio.

That does it for the Sisters this week.  Check out more great ideas at http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com.  Thanks for visiting and we hope you come back again soon.

The Snipin’ Sisters,

Sharon, Robyn & Karen
