Smile at the Rain For Paper Players #285

Here comes  a fun card Karen made for this week’s Paper Players challenge with a rain/shine theme.  As Spring approaches this theme seems most appropriate.  Here is the sketch:

Karen used greys and navy to give the idea of a rainy day, but the sun peeking from the clouds reminds us that after the rain comes the sun.  It just takes a little longer in some places than others.

Project Materials

  • Paper:  Lullaby DSP,  Night of Navy, Whisper White–Stampin’ Up
  • Dies:  umbrella–Memory Box;  clouds, sun, raindrops Stitched Sky–Mama Elephant
  • Embelishments:  Wink of Stella ( bottom two clouds)
  • Stamps:  smile–Michael’s dollar bin

We hope this little post brought some inspiration and perhaps a smile.   Check out more rain & shine ideas at http://www.thepaperplayers.blogspot.com.

Thanks for visiting!
