A Simple Hello for PPA286

I liked the Pals Paper Arts challenge this week so I decided to give it a try.  Here is the sketch I worked from:

Having all my valentines finished and ready to mail there were some fun papers left over that I could see fitting into this project.  Using great papers from different sources made this card easy to put together.  I used some new stamps recently purchased so that made it fun too.  It was a bit of a trick for me to get the inset of pink stripe to fit into the angled area.  It doesn’t look that difficult, but I had to work at it.   If I was to make this card again I would lift the dotted panels to give a more dramatic effect.

Materials

Paper:  Blushing Bride, Birthday Bouquet–Srampin ‘Up;  Blowing Kisses by Dani Mogstad for Echo Park

Stamps:  Fresh Floral Wrap Ups–Papertrey  Ink

Ink:  Regal Rose, Old Olive, &  Archival black–Stampin’ Up

I hope you liked my card and will leave a comment if you found some inspiration.  Check out more great ideas at http://www.palspaperarts.com.

Thanks for stopping by!
