Mr. Groundhog & Mojo #433

This week we met early Monday morning to create our cards, but sorry to say I’m rather late in getting this posted.  Here we go and I hope you enjoy our efforts.  This is the design challenge we followed:

karen’s card

With several inches of snow in the forecast Karen created a winter card that was full of fun.   The little helper is supposed to be a penguin, but I thought he looked more like a groundhog and figured he wouldn’t be seeing his shadow with so much snow around.  Her colors were bright and cheery in spite of the forecast.

Materials

Stamps:  Ramona & Mr. Penguin–Stampingbella and envelope images from Barrel of Stamps

Markers:  Stampin’ Up’s Blendabilities,  Stabno’s fine-tip pens,

Embellishments:  Wink of Stella

sharon’s card

Sharon needed just one more Valentine so she created this happy card.   Her creation is a series of goofs that she turned into a good save.  Her card actually became the interior and a miscut red card became the base.  Who would know?

Materials

Paper:  Real Red card base, Whisper White and  Love Blossoms DSP paper pack– Stampin’ Up

Stamps:  Roses for You — Simon Says Stamp

Die Cuts:  Roses for You — Simon Says

Ink:  Melon Mombo, Blushing Bride, Black Archival, Wink of Stella

robyn’s card

Isn’t Robyn’s card full of fun and whimsy?  Her sweet hedgehog just puts a smile on your face.  Her sentiment is fun and has a fair amount of truth to it too.  It’s a bright cheery card good for many occasions.

Materials

Paper:  Wildflower Fields Stampin’ Up

Stamp:  Gilbert Has a Snack Stampingbella

Embellishment:   Candy Dots Stampin’ Up

That is this week’s collection and we hope you enjoyed it.  We love hearing from you and appreciate your comments.  Don’t forget to visit http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com for more good ideas. Hope to see you next week!
