3 Cards For Mojo Monday #425

This will be short and sweet as the week is short and we all have food to prepare.  We managed to get cards together for this week’s challenge, and here is the format we followed:

Karen called her creation “Baby It’s Cold Outside” and she is right on target with her theme as most of us settle in for a huge taste of winter this week.

Karen’s Card

PAPER:  Ice Blue Bokeh Lawn Fawn, embossed paper Soft Sky Stampin Up, Snowflakes white card stock

EMBOSSING FOLDER: Snowflakes by Tim Holtz for Sizzix.

DIE CUTS:  Snowflakes from Sizzix

STAMP:  Baby it’s Cold Outside Stampin Up’s Project Life “Holiday Cheer”

The ribbon is from the trusty scrap bag and has just a little gold bling added.

A dab of Diamond Stickles is used on the center of the snowflakes.

She chalked the edges of the rectangle and the circles in Dove Gray by Color Box for some definition.

We’re Back

After a too long of an absence The Snipin’ Sisters are back with their interpretations of Mojo 424.

With all the layers that a great card has, here are our projects.

Robyn’s Card

Robyn starts off our collection with her sweet holiday card and a new stamp from Stampendous.  This one is called House Mouse by Ellen Jareckle.  It is so fun and just makes you smile.  Her paper is from Stampin’ Up’s Merry Moments.   She didn’t share where her sentiment is from, but it is clever!

Karen’s Card

Karen’s card is up next.  She also used the Holidays for her theme.  More Merry Moments paper from SU and a cute wreath adaptation from Papertrey Ink’s Squiggles.  I love how she uses SU’s bird punch (wing) for the candle flame.  Very clever!

Sharon’s Card

My card is keeping with the season and has a birthday message inside for a dear friend.  I used paper from Papertrey Ink  which coordinates well together.  The leaf is a die cut from SU but is now retired, and the sentiment is also SU and from one of their Paper Pumpkin sets.

That does it for this week.  We hope you found something to inspire you, and we will do our best to be back next week.  Be sure to check out the Mojo Monday site at http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com for more great ideas.

Thanks for visiting!
