Mojo Monday 416

This week we were to work with three images and a banner with a stripe of some kind.  We took liberties–some more than others, and we had a good time.    Here is the design that motivated our cards:

First up is Robyn.  She did a great job with color and mixing patterns.  The background paper is from Stampin’ Up, but the poppy paper is from an unknown source.  She used SU’s pansy punch for her flower and a bit of glitter paper for its center.  The sentiment is also from SU and is a thinlet die.  The bit of bling is from Doodlebug Designs.

Karen’s card is a clever interpretation of the Mojo design in that she made her circles into a snowman.  The background is a Stampin Up product as is the embossing folder she used to give the snowman texture. The hat and face are simply scraps, but the nose is a button in the shape of a carrot.  Very Cute!

My card was inspired from the season as leaves have begun to change here, and the temps. are cooling down.  All of my paper is from Papertrey Ink’s Text-Style Fall Prints & Patterns.  I cut the leaves with Stampin’ Up’s Big Z die:  Autumn Accents which I think has been retired.  The checked ribbon is a Mara-Mi product and is 1/4″ wide.   The sentiment is all SU product.  The background was their fancy label punch, but is no longer available.  The word window punch is available and I use it often.  My stamp is from SU’s Good Greetings, but I just checked and is no longer available either.

That is our collection for this week.  I hope you found some inspiration and don’t forget to check out the Mojo Monday site for more fun ideas.
