Halloween Cards for Mojo Monday

Halloween is such fun for many folks this time of year and here at Snipin’ Sisters it’s no different.  Karen and Robyn have come up with some pretty clever and spooky ideas for their cards.  They followed this week’s design…..

And with a few personal adaptations, here are their cards.

Karen’s Card

Karen used retired Stampin’ Up paper from her scrap box to create the layers and cute tag for the base of her card.  Her sentiment is from Li’l Inkers and has red eyes done with a bit of glitter from Stickles.  The edgelet on the envelope is from SU’s holiday catalog called Sleigh Ride.  If you look closely you may see that she has backed each little house with a scrap of colored paper.   (Very clever!)

Robyn’s Card

Robyn’s card is equally scary with spiders galore!  She first embossed her white cardstock with a folder of webs from Paper Studio.  Then she used Stampin’ Up’s DSP Happy Haunting for her next layers.  She also used Li’l Inker’s Spooky for her sentiment and doubled it for more definition.

Also being very clever in her own right, Robyn made her tag removable and added more spiders. Can one have too many spiders?   When they are as cute as these, I’d say no!
That does it for this week.  Check out more clever ideas at http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com.

Hope you found something useful and we thank you for visiting.
