Hey There…Henrietta Is Back!

Today I have a sweet little card that stands by itself and fits into an A2 envelope.   There is also a repeat appearance of that cute little chick Henrietta.

Start with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of cardstock.  In the landscape mode score at  2 1/2″, 4″, 7″, and 8 1/2″.  Folding on the score lines in  a V, M, M, V sequence, you will see your freestanding card take shape.  Decorate the panels as you like.  I used scraps from my scrap basket for the decorative sections of the outside panels cutting them 3/16” smaller.   Watercoloring Henrietta made the center section easy- peasy.

Materials Used:

Paper:  Red, White, and Blue–Pebbles

Petite Prints–Doodlebug

Stamps:  Kind and Cozy– Stampin’ Up

Henrietta–Rubbernecker’s

Punches:  2″ & 1 3/8″ Circles

Sentiment:  “hey there”–Paper Smootches

Tools:   Aqua Painters–Stampin’ Up

That’s a wrap!   Hope this inspires you to give this card a try.

Thanks for visiting!

  1. I do LOVE Henrietta. What a great way to display her in a “stand-up” card. I also like the idea that this card is a basic A2 size. You have the best scrap basket. This card “Sqawks” fun.
